INTERGRAPH Case study

Since the start of the CFPP Walsum unit 10 piping project in 2007 IMR was searching for a good solution to manage piping data within the work planning, material handling, erection and quality assurance phases. After some tests with other software it was found that INTERGRAPH provides already proven software within the SMART PLANT tool group

Interfaces for SAP and all 3D CAD software used in the business that run on Isogen or Isodraft files can be handled. To read some details of the software implementation process and experiences please feel free to follow this Link.

In CW04-2012 IMR continued to invest in workplace safety

In CW04-2012 IMR continued to invest in workplace safety. 20 extra men of the operational staff in theory and practice have been trained, tested and certified with the support of our partner GARDEMANN according to the IPAF guidelines as a lifting platform operator. Scissors and swivel arm manlifts (so called “cherry pickers”) are used in many areas and involve numerous risks. Through the observance of basic operating instructions, most hazards are reduced to virtually zero. Emergency lowering and other maneuvers were practiced by each participant which gives confidence in dealing with the devices.

New IMR-Hamburg logo

IMR rebranded! We see ourselves as piping specialists in northern Germany. Since for our customers we have long been known as “IMR from Hamburg” and as a now European wide operating company we wanted to strengthen our brand recognition with a name than can more easily be remembered from non German speaking people and still be present for our old customers. Therefore we are now working under the name “IMR HAMBURG GmbH” for you. On the 23rd of June 2011 the new company name was already registered in the commercial register of Hamburg with the number HRB 85504. Of course we are still accessible as usual with the existing telephone numbers, email and postal addresses. Also banking details remain unchanged.
